Grades are Updated

I have updated the grades so check to make sure I did not miss something of yours. I have been out sick, I won't be back until Friday I think, unless I feel 100% tomorrow. Don't forget to finish the reproduction packet for homework. A - Block due Friday and B-block due Monday. I am not sure if we will continue with the switching of girls to another class since I am out. We will probably just correct the packet and that will be enough information on reproduction. Students if you have questions that did not get answered during our discussion please remember to have an open line of communication with your parents and you will benefit from it so just ask them your questions. Parents I know as your child's first teacher this is might be difficult for you to discuss with your child but if you don't they just get wrong information from their friends and classmates. Let me know if I can help in anyway. Stay healthy since it seems like cold season has started. Have a great day!

Fall Break Week Agenda

Last week went flying by so I did not get a chance to update the agenda section. We reviewed for the benchmark and then A block took the benchmark on Friday. B-block will take it on Monday. INB was also due for A-block which most kids got their scores in but some will have to do it this week. This week coming up, Week of October 11 will be a discussion on Reproduction. Girls will be taught by the female science teachers and boys will be taught by male teachers. We had a great success last school year with this method of teaching reproduction. We will focus on what is in the book. There will be worksheets done mostly in class, but if students do not finish them they will have to do them for homework. If you have any questions please contact me. We will be starting Tuesday during the E day and Finishing up on Thursday. Friday is the end of the Quarter and I plan to have the grades done by Thursday so if there are any mistakes we can take care of them on Friday. Frog dissection will either be the end of this week or early next week.
