What skills do scientist apply to solving problems or questions?
What do we study in physical science?
Explain the process of scientific inquiry (aka the scientific method).
Why do we use models in science?
Be able to calculate Volume, Slope, and Density
Understand how to use tools to measure in the metric system like rulers, balances, etc.
Make sure you understand how to stay safe in a laboratory setting.

Chapter 9 Motion and Energy
Understand the key terms for the chapter
The motion of an object is described by its position, speed, direction, and acceleration.
When is an object in motion?
how do you calculate speed?
how do you calculate acceleration?
What affects an object's kinetic energy and potential energy?
Know how to calculate Speed, Slope, Acceleration

Chapter 10 Forces
Understand the key terms for the chapter
An unbalanced force will cause a change in an object's velocity.
how do balanced and unbalanced forces affect velocity?
Why do objects accelerate during free fall?
What is Newtons second law of motion?
What is Newtons third law of motion?
What keeps a satellite in orbit?
Be able to calculate force and momentum

Chapter 11 Forces in Fluids
Understand the key terms for the chapter
If an object is less dense than a fluid it will float in the fluid. If an object is more dense than a fluid it will sink.
how do fluids exert pressure?
What is the effect of the buoyant forces?
